Concept & feedback
Amplify exists as a concept and a working preview. We're sharing that preview with musicians and music fans to learn what's genuinely useful and what isn't.
A new social platform in development for Scotland's music scene, where musicians get found and fans find local talent worth following.

Hey, listened to your talent and it's awesome! We need a new guitarist, want to try out?
Currently an idea. We're gathering feedback to build the perfect platform.
Amplify connects two sides of Scotland's music scene that mostly rely on word of mouth today.
Build a profile, share your Spotify, SoundCloud or Instagram, and let local fans discover your music. Announce gigs and releases to people nearby, and connect with other musicians to collaborate, join a band, or work on a track together.
Find local artists worth listening to, filtered by genre and post type, without digging through algorithms built for anywhere but here. Follow a musician on Amplify and get sent straight to their music and social pages.
We haven't built the full product yet. We're validating the idea first, so what we build is actually worth using.
Amplify exists as a concept and a working preview. We're sharing that preview with musicians and music fans to learn what's genuinely useful and what isn't.
Using what we learn, we intend to build Amplify into a full beta application: profiles, discovery, messaging, announcements, and posts.
The beta will remain closed, allowing only a selection of individuals to thoroughly test the application.
After making reasonable adjustments from what we learn through the closed beta, we will launch Amplify across Scotland for all musicians and music fans.
Both founders share a close bond, having met at university in 2022. Since then, they have travelled to 4 continents together and shared many brilliant ideas, Amplify being one.
The idea came from meeting many musicians during their time in Glasgow who did not have the fanbase they deserved. Hearing their talent made the founders question why so many musicians go unnoticed. This sparked the idea for a dedicated, music-loving platform that allows artists to promote themselves and listeners to find them easily.
With a background in technology and a passion for music, I want to solve the issue many undiscovered musicians have and connect them with a fanbase that appreciates their talent.
As a musician myself and a passionate listener, I understand the struggles on both sides. Through this platform, I hope to make it easier for listeners to discover and musicians to be discovered.
With a background in business and recruitment, I'm passionate about connecting talented people with the right opportunities.
Through Amplify, I hope to help talented musicians get discovered and connect with audiences who genuinely appreciate what they create.
It's an early, working preview of the idea, not the finished app. Your feedback shapes what we build next.
