5. Third-party processors & international transfers
5.1 JotForm
We use JotForm as a third-party form provider to host, securely store, and manage our forms and their corresponding data. When you click on a button that initiates giving data through a form (such as our preview feedback), you are redirected from our website to JotForm, which hosts the form externally. JotForm uses browser information, such as cookies, to help ensure that only one submission per person is permitted. We also utilise JotForm reports internally to analyse form data and user preferences.
As JotForm processes data on global servers, personal data submitted through our forms may be transferred to and stored outside the UK.
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we take steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, relying on applicable legal mechanisms and data protection frameworks for international transfers.
Further information about how JotForm processes personal data can be found in their Privacy Policy. The Data Transfer Impact Assessment outlines JotForm's adopted safeguards for data transfers.
5.2 Google (reCAPTCHA)
To protect our forms from spam and automated abuse, Google reCAPTCHA is integrated directly within the externally hosted JotForm pages. We do not use or load Google reCAPTCHA on our own website.
When you use our external JotForm pages, reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you interact with that page (such as your IP address and browser details) and sends it to Google to check that you are a real person.
Google may process this data on servers outside the UK. Its use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the form secure and free from spam.
5.3 Cloudflare
This website uses Cloudflare for web security, performance, and infrastructure protection services. As part of providing these services, Cloudflare automatically processes certain technical information about visitors, including IP addresses, SSL certificate data, and traffic routing telemetry. This information is processed to operate, secure, and accelerate the website and protect its infrastructure from malicious traffic. Further information about how Cloudflare processes personal data can be found in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
6. Cookies (PECR)
We store your cookie choice in your browser so we don't ask you again on every page.
6.1 Essential Security Cookies (Cloudflare)
Our website uses Cloudflare to ensure security, performance, and protection against malicious traffic. When you access our site, Cloudflare may set essential security cookies (such as cf_clearance).
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), these cookies are classified as strictly necessary because they are essential to deliver the core security and functionality of the website that you requested. As a result, they do not require prior consent.
6.2 Optional Analytics Cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics, provided by Google, to understand how visitors use
this website, such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive here, and the type of device
used. This helps us improve the website and understand interest in Amplify. Google Analytics
sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that last up to 2 years. Google
may process this data on servers outside the UK.
These Google Analytics cookies are only set if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you reject them, Google Analytics does not set cookies on your device. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie Settings” in the homepage footer.
We do not use advertising cookies.
7. Legal basis for processing
We process feedback submissions and technical telemetry on the basis of our legitimate interests in running, securing, and evaluating Amplify.
Where you choose to receive launch notifications or opt in to performance tracking via Google Analytics cookies, we process your information on the basis of your consent.
8. Data retention
We will retain feedback submissions only for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate, develop, and support the Amplify project and related investor discussions, after which submissions will be deleted or anonymised.
Email correspondence sent directly to our contact email address will be retained for as long as necessary to address and resolve your query or complaint, after which it will be securely deleted unless required for ongoing legal or compliance purposes.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR, Chapter 3), you have rights regarding your personal data, including:
- Right of access: Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
